Al-Ikhlas (The Sincerity)
The Word of The Lord in Surah Al-Ikhlas:
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
(Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem )
1. قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
(Qul huwal laahu ahad)
2. ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
(Allah hus-samad)
3. لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
(Lam yalid wa lam yoolad)
4. وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
(Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad)
*English Translation
What can we contemplate?
That Allah our Lord and our God proclaim Himself to be One and Only. There is no one that has the similarity with our Lord. The Single and Only God with no one beside Him. That our Lord is the Eternal one. The One that stays the same forever as The Living God. And He is the only One who is Absolute. Our Lord has no parents nor child or spouse. He alone is God and free from everything that falsely assigned to Him. And there is none like unto Him. Our Lord and God the One we put our hopes on. God proclaim His Absoluteness and Almightiness so that we could understand that to Him only sovereigns. That to Him only all powers. That from Him only we could get life and not become death. We are told that there is no other deity beside God to be worshipped by us. And that no one is like Him we should not afraid of anything beside our Lord. That no one is like our Living God, The Almighty One. Allah depends on no one but to Him all creatures depend. And from Him alone we get our sustain and Him only is enough for us to give us our daily living unto forever. So that we could keep in our mind and heart that we have full faith and strong confidence in Allah our Lord. That we may serve Him only and dedicated our life to Him, our Creator the One and Only.
May the Lord help us to have full faith in Him -Tauhid faith-. And may the Lord give us His understanding so that we may learn and live according His ways and statues.
